Here's an excerpt from Maxine's sister's email:
The Ransom Hospital "...thought it cracked her cheek bone. Sent her to Hays Wed morning where she was checked and found that the eye socket bone had been crushed, over lapped and was in terrible shape. She was in surgery for several hours as the Dr had to put in titanium plates and screws to put it all back together. He hopes that the eye will work well and seems to think that it will. The big thing to worry about now is that she will not get infection." According to the email, when Maxine gets home, she will have to take it easy. Could take up to 6 weeks for the face swelling to go down.
Several generations ago our family ties were strengthened through extended family
gatherings and reunions. Our family tree continues to grow and the family branches are
spreading around the country. Reunions are fun and hopefully we'll experience them again.
In the meantime, lets try a family blog to reconnect and become acquainted with our
families. Larry David has set up this family blog.
Here is a venue for all of us to use. We can share family news, tell stories, share
memories and pictures, etc. Please join the blog and become an active participant.
Only family members will be able to read or write on the blog. You must respond to your
email invitation to join the Nuttle Family blog and you must set up a Google account.
Welcome to the Nuttle Family blog.

Maxine is feeling pretty good. Experiencing very little pain, swelling has gone down, and bruises are nearly gone. Dr. is pleased with her progress.
Hard way to have an eye lift. Sounds painful. Hope she is doing okay.
