Several generations ago our family ties were strengthened through extended family
gatherings and reunions. Our family tree continues to grow and the family branches are
spreading around the country. Reunions are fun and hopefully we'll experience them again.
In the meantime, lets try a family blog to reconnect and become acquainted with our
families. Larry David has set up this family blog.

Here is a venue for all of us to use. We can share family news, tell stories, share
memories and pictures, etc. Please join the blog and become an active participant.

Only family members will be able to read or write on the blog. You must respond to your
email invitation to join the Nuttle Family blog and you must set up a Google account.

Welcome to the Nuttle Family blog.

Hi Family,
We are still alive here on this side of the Mississippi.
In July Casey, Joe & I went to see Dale in Rapid City. We are glad we went, he was having a rough time of it. But did show us some pretty country.
We went to Custer State Park, got to see where the buffalo roam and the deer and antelope play.
We ate at the lodge that used to be the summer White House. Pretty cool. Dale and Marie took us to a camp that is rented out for family reunions and church camps. I left some of my knees there but the tree helped hold me up and try to get my nerves back in check. Could of been the height.
Spent the 4th watching fireworks at a golf course and watched some great fireworks being shot off and the was from the house along the golf course. Rapid City's wasn't bad but the dueling fireworks was way cool.
Before we left we went to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse monument, and a dinosaur museum.
It was a great time. And was great to see Dale and his family. Shelli(daughter) and her family live too.
I had shoulder surgery done in February and have just got back to work full time for 1 1/2 months now. Doing OK. A week after I had surgery Steve totalled his pickup so Crip was taking care of Crip. The boys families helped great, too. It was nice to have the summer off and watch alot of baseball.
The grandkids are back to school this week. Jake moved into his new house this summer so the his kids are riding a different bus and their other grandpa drives. Tater is still down the street which is great.
Here are some pictures from our trip.
Love to all
Tammy & Steve

Great pictures of all of you. I'm glad you all made the trip to SD and had time with Dale & Marie. I really enjoyed your update and hope to hear more from the Ohio families!

Thanks for taking us with you on your trip! At least we got a glimpse of it through this wonderful blog. I'm sure your trip was good medicine for Dale, such an encouragement, Linda.
